Bio

I am a Colorado raised Filipina/German American teacher and artist. In addition to my own lived human experience, my strong connection to my heritage influences my art. As well as, a history of being exposed to a great deal of vintage catholic prints, medieval and twentieth-century art. My art is a mix of abstract, emotionalism, portraiture and fantasy! I am a self taught artist who likes to use different mediums like foil and leaves. I have an MA. in Educational Psychology and when I am not teaching or painting, I am doing yoga, reading, hiking, yapping or playing with my pups. Painting has always been a way for me to heal, challenge myself, express my emotions and have fun!
